What makes Maria Sharapova an inspiration for beginners in Tennis?

Every person who likes tennis knows who Maria Sharapova is. She is an internationally recognized sports personality. This Russian player has won five grand slam and 32 WTA singles titles. She has been ranked number one player five times in female world ranking for singles.

Many young tennis players idolize her and think of her as their role model. Many players learning and practicing at kids tennis lessons wants to become like her. Her qualities make her an inspiration for kids. Here are some of her qualities that inspire others:

Hard Work –
Maria Sharapova’s hard work is inspiring for young players. She is playing tennis for years and she worked day and night to gain what she has now. She moved to another country just to get better training. She learned from experts and practiced for hours to become better in this sport. To become a professional in this game is not easy and hard work is the key to become number one. One can learn it from Maria.

Dedication –
Anyone can learn from her dedication for this sport. It was her commitment for this game that she moved to another country just to learn from better coaches. She showed her love for tennis in her game. She dedicated her childhood years for practicing this game. Becoming number one five times is the result of her commitment.

Fighting spirit – Kids can learn from her to never give up. She suffered from shoulder injury twice but she never gave up. Many times she struggle with her bad form. In 2008 and 2013, two times she suffered from injuries in shoulder. When these injuries forced her to stop practicing, people thought that her career was over. However, every time she came back with more confidence. She even won a grand slam, French Open 2014 after recovering from her shoulder injury. Her spirit can teach kids to keep fighting for what they want.

Helping others –
This Russian tennis player is also an inspiration when it comes to help other people. She was a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She also donates money for different causes. She donated 50,000 US dollars for the victims of Beslan school hostage crisis. She also donated 210,000 US dollars to Chernobyl-recovery projects under UNDP.

Young tennis players all over the world can learn from her these qualities. She is an inspiration for everyone in and outside the court. With every day, she is inspiring more people.
